What if you were willing to nurture and care for you?

What if you were willing to nurture and care for you?

What if you were willing to nurture and care for you?

I don’t know about you, but I drop my phone a LOT.

Getting it out of my pocket or handbag when it’s ringing,

Eager to take a quick photo and capture a moment,

Passing it to a friend to share a funny text or video,

Sometimes I just put it down awkwardly and as I walk away, catch a glimpse of it out of the corner of my eye start to slide off the table, knowing I’m not going to get back to catch it in time…

And I still expect it to work.

Even as I watch it bouncing down the stairs, I’m thinking

“Please don’t break!”

Then I’m so grateful that it’s still working.

For a moment.

Then I go back to expecting and projecting that it SHOULD work, it OUGHT to work – it HAS to work!

I’ve had my phone now for 3years.

3 years!

That’s a lifetime in an iphone….that’s old enough to be expecting a letter from the Queen on its next birthday.

My phone has continued to work tirelessly. Ceaselessly.

Making and receiving calls, bringing me my emails, getting me on facebook and whats app and twitter.

Bringing me messages of importance, of love, of fun.

Making my life easier in many ways.

I get frustrated, irritated and utterly annoyed with my phone if it doesn’t respond immediately, or the signal or battery are low.

Very rarely do I show gratitude to my phone for all it does for me.

I just take it for granted that my phone will function and perform for me.

For it to work when I need it to work without question.
Where do we treat ourselves like this?

We drive ourselves hard expecting performance without question.

And instead of acknowledgement and gratitude for all the things we do well and get right…we berate ourselves for all that we haven’t done, could have done better and everything we got wrong.

The invitation of Access is to help you acknowledge you as the infinite being you truly are and to step into generating a life beyond the you, you think you are.

I’d like to extend that invitation to you.

Next week I’m holding an Access Bars Day where you can receive the gift of you in a way that enables you to start generating a life beyond what you previously thought was possible.

How much better would my phone function and perform for me if I stopped dropping it and blaming it and started to be more gentle and nurturing with it?

What if you were willing to nurture and care for you?

What if you would open the doors to being everything you have decided is not possible to be?
